PCS and DITY/PPM Moves

For a standard PCS move, the military's Transportation Management Office (TMO) may coordinate vehicle shipping through government contracts. However, many service members choose to arrange their own Personally Procured Move (PPM, formerly DITY) for their vehicle — and for good reason. When you ship your vehicle as part of a PPM, you can submit the transport costs for partial reimbursement through your TMO. We provide all the documentation you need: a detailed invoice, Bill of Lading, proof of pickup and delivery, and weight tickets if applicable. Base-to-Base Logistics

Delivering to or picking up from a military installation requires proper access credentials, gate procedures, and sometimes escort arrangements.
